Jobs in Afghanistan are plentiful, but finding the right job, with the right pay and the right amount of risk for you is a bit more of a challenge.

Below, I've listed out as many resources as I've become aware of during my time here which may help you.

For all those looking for:

• Construction Jobs
• Security Jobs
• Contract Jobs
• KBR Jobs

Check out the UNHCR, Red Cross, Relief Web, KBR, ACBAR, the US Government (both state.gov and the federal government), and any other firms or governments whom you hear about in the news who have been awarded contracts by either USAID or the European Union. These are the companies with the money and are hiring.

For teaching positions in Afghanistan:

Contact the International School of Kabul or their parent organization, Oasis Schools International.

Also, if you are self-funded and desire to teach, contact: The International Assistance Mission, Personnel Director
